This is my first blog since January (a long time, I know). Anyway, today's topic: Adoration.
I went to Adoration today for an hour. You would think that it would seem like a very long time and pass by very slowly. However, the opposite happened. The hour passed by very quickly.
For those of you who live far away from an Adoration chapel, there is a website: www.savior.org where you can go to Adoration without ever having to leave the house. There are prayers and devotions on the website. You can read what the saints had to say about the Eucharist. There is even a testimonials section.
Do you want to learn more about your faith? Or learn more about another faith? You picked the right spot.

Misconceptions and Misinformations
It amazes me how many misconceptions and, perhaps a better word, misinformation about the Catholic Faith that are out there.
Today I saw this ridiculous comment that Emperor Constatine started the Catholic Church. I don't know how many times I've seen "Catholics worship Mary" or "Catholics aren't Christian." The latter is why I joined You Tube to begin with.
Please, please, learn about your Catholic faith from good sources. Know it and defend it. The way the anti-Catholics are able to take someone who was Catholic before is because those fallen away Catholics didn't know their faith and fell into the trap of misconceptions and misinformation.

Solemnity of Mary the Mother of God
Happy New Year!
More importantly, though, is today's feast: the Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God. Today is a holy day of obligation.
Think about how wonderful it is that we start out our new year everyday with a holy day of obligation. It starts the new year out on the right foot, doesn't it?
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
